Default Having weird HERO equipping bug - not showing extra health or energy

Hi all,

I noticed something happening the other day.. but could not identify it till now
It involves extra health or energy not showing up when I equip XANDRA with a green focus, Hautoh's Ambition(HA).


Every once in awhile it will register.. and then only once.. soon as I cast a spell.. it goes back to base level and stays there.

XANDRA
Base Health: 480(equipped with HA should be 510)
Base Energy: 30(equipped with HA should be 57)

Restoration: 13
Channeling: 14
Spawning: 3

Green Focus: Hautoh's Ambition
Energy +12 (Requires 9 Channeling Magic)
Energy +15
Energy regeneration -1
Health +30

Here are two images showing the anomaly, and to show her attributes should make this work.

Ideas and thoughts as to why this is happening... and how to correct it are welcomed.

This is a common glitch with adding and removing weapons. It's common to see when you are using item spells. The game doesn't update to reflect your current energy. In the case of item spells, it shows incorrect energy values so that it reports not enough energy even though you appear to have plenty of energy. It's the same phenomenon here, where the game doesn't reflect the change in energy.

It seems Xandra is carrying pwk, which negates weapon/off-hand bonuses.

I do believe that is the issue. Now I have to rethink what

Heroes should never be equipped with negative energy regen items anyway. The point of those items is temporary energy, and equipping them for longer than 45 seconds negates the bonus energy they provide.

Yeah agreed with MisterB. If you think you need more energy you are better off using any combination of runes of attunement, radiant insignias, a staff with insight staffhead and a +5e^50 insc or a BiP nec or some other form of energy boost. I usually run Xandra with a 2 attunement runes (+4e), a staff with an insightful staff head and "hale & hearty" insc (+20e) for a total of 54 energy which is more than enough for most things. If you want to replace the insightful staffhead with an adapt one, but still want energy you can radiant insig the chest armor (52 energy). Or again just bring a battery pack hero. Speeding energy regen can be more beneficial than having to worry about having high max energy.

A rit hero with a bundle item like PwK will rarely ever not be holding the bundle, unless you have the skill disabled/micro'd so the +15/-1 items rarely ever come into effect, and usually only for a few seconds when the hero is likely to need the extra energy most...
